ABOUT US
This store is owned by Catherine Desmier who with her co-worker Sue Murray, have both worked in floristry for over 20 years. The store was formerly owned by Catherine's parents, Frank and Mildred Duncan and was previously located at the Mater Hospital thus explaining the name.
We are now situated in The Cottage Garden Nursery at 999 Stanley Street, East Brisbane (just 1k from the Mater Hospital) in a delightful tranquil setting, together with a Garden Nursery and Coffee Shop. So come in and see us and have a relaxing coffee and browse round the Nursery while we make up your order to your personal requirements.
We are a small team and pride ourselves on our personal touch. The florist who takes your order usually sees it through to completion and we take pride in the fact that we go that extra distance to ensure a happy and satisfied customer.
With the flower business continually modernizing and exploring new and exciting areas, we are very aware of keeping up with the times. "New Architectural Styles" have meant that new and interesting flower arrangements are in demand to keep up with the aesthetics of modern living, but we also understand that "modern" may not be your style and we have spent many years perfecting traditional bouquets and arrangements to please the most discerning customers.
We are affiliated with both Interflora and Teleflora, therefore we are equipped to send flowers and gifts to almost anywhere in the world.
We also carry a wide range of gift lines which include Jesse's Secret Body Care products, soft toys, chocolates, balloons and gourmet hampers. |
